Talent vs Hard Work

Dear students,
It has been a while since the last posts, so that´s why now we have an excellent topic you can all discuss about. There is a constant debate whether it takes talent to succeed or if it is only hard work. In this blog we want to know your position and points of view, but you will need to support your opinions with facts and/or anecdotes to sustain your outlook on this topic.
We are all anxious to read your comments.

I think it's just hard work, because it happens to me and I've seen that also happens to others. Because when you want something with all your heart always you have to work and give the best you have, to get it. For example when you spend taking bad grades in one or more subjects and it's time to study for the exam and if you do not know anything you should strive enough to achieve an excellent note. Also in the case of adolescents, they would have to strive to get good grades along the career they chose and adults are struggling to buy their things, to provide a good life for their children and to bring up their homes. So I think that all the things are won by the efforts made.

  2. I think that if you work hard you succeed because my dad when he was poor and rich he didn't have enough money to give to us. So my dad work so hard he became a millionaire. He bot a ferrari and a giant house that my big family live. As a result, people in life succeed by working hard and doing what they like to do to succeed. Therefore, working hard you can succeed anything . thank you i hope do you like my commentary

  3. You need hard work to succeed. You can make whatever you want if you work hard. Like for example: when i was in a contest i work very hard i was practicing every day and at the i won the contest. There is people that make motivating speeches like Shia Labeuf made one called "Just do it" and he made it to motivate people, to make them accomplish their dreams.

    THANKS FOR

  4. I think it takes a little bit of both, but mostly hard work.
My reason for this is because, even though you have a talent, if you don't practice and put hard work in it to improve it, your talent is completely wasted.
But, if you don't have a talent, it'll just make it tougher to succeed. Talent is an extra gift given by God to us, that we need to embrace.
But even if you can't sing for example, and have the dream to be a singer, go for it. With hard work, you'll do great.

  5. I think that hard work is the best way to succeed because if you practice something with effort and constantly can be better than talent if talent is not used correctly. Also I remember that I wasn't good at basketball but I tried hard for be better and I made it even I'm better that other people that are talented.

I think you only need the hardwork to succed in life like Bill Gates he didn't had talent, but he gave all his effort for succed in life, that's how he could be as he is in this present. So in conclusion the hard work is better than the talent.

  7. I think you need both, talent and hard work, because if you only have talent and don't work on it, eventually another talented person that worked hard will be better than you. On the other hand, if you only work hard and there is another person who has the talent and also works hard that person will succeed instead of you. I also believe that if you wish for something very bad and you work hard for it and have discipline and the correct attitude, you could get the talent just like someone who was born with it

  8. I think we need from both but we need more from hardwork. You can be one of the most talented persons in a lot of things but if you don´t practice you loose experience and that talent that you got at the end is practicly nothing. My chees teacher said '' You got a lot of talent in there but you need to take advantage of that and exploted it beacuse if you don´t , you wouldn´t get anything from it ''and its true. My basquetball teacher also said that I got talent but I stop practicing beacuse I got vagrancy and now I am just one more and that shown me that hardwork is more important that talent for getting what you want.

  9. In my opinion, hard work is better than a talent.
Because hard work brings you success in life, and is something that you were perseverate to reach it.Also it can be recognized by others, because you practice and practice for it.And in the other hand we have talent that is nothing with out our effort ,but is something easy to recognize, because is something easy for us,that we have memorized in our brain.
So as conclusion HARD WORK is 100 times more successful than a talent.

  10. I think it is hardwork because in life with talent you dont get as many things but you can use hardwork to get as many things

  11. I think it is hard work, because if you only have talent and you don't work hard, you WON'T succeed in your LIFE.
My anecdote is that I like to swim BUTTERFLY style, but I don't have to much talent for it;but practicing it I could do it and I worked hard for being good at it.
LESSON: You have to work hard for what you want.

I think the hard work is better because the talent is something we know to do, but hard work is something that we work to achieve

  13. I think the resources to succed are both, to have talent and do hardwork, because it is true, you need talent to do something but also hardwork because you can't do things well if you don't work for it and practice it.

  14. My opinion about "Talent vs Hard Work", is that we have to work hard so we can triumph on life, we can´t have talent without studying and working hard to get it. Both are related, for example:
A doctor could be the greatest in all the world but before being it, he had to work hard to achieve it.

  15. Hard work is better than talent because it doesn´t matter if you have talent if you are lazy you will not succeed. Hard work means never give up so if you have to study got talent will not help you but the hard work will make you get a 10. One day i have to do a very difficult homework and with hard work i finish it but it took me 4 hours to finish it but I do it in that moment hard work would not help me . So in conclusion I think hard work is better than talent. my name is stefania apolo of 6 air 1

  16. Well its very necessary the use of both, talent and hard work, because if you if your talent is in acting you still have to work hard to make it perfect, or a soccer player, he can have talent at playing but he will need hard work to play. If a person wants to succeed in his job he or she will have the gigantic need of hard work and talent. So in conclusion we now know that both are needed for perfection.

I think you need talent because you can do hardwork but there are things in life, that you can't do with it for example, without it my older sister is good at math and numbers but my other sister needs to do hardwork to be good at math.

  18. I that every think that we always have to do even a little of hard work in everything that we do.Talent is something special that we have,we all have talents;but the real hard work is when you do a big,big efort for doing what you want

  19. i think you can have sucess with had work, beacuse to have good grades i have to study, do homeworks in that way i can learn what the teacher teach us in class. an anecdote of this in lengua classes the miss sent us an individual work and i studied to do this and i was the only one who got 10. probably if i didn`t study i could have less grade.

  20. I think is a combination because all persons have a talent you have to work hard and work in that talent that is when you will succeed. The hard work is more important than the talent because you can have talent but if you do not work hard you will not succeed.

    ResponderEliminar
  21. It is hard work, because without work, the talent would not exist.

  22. I think that the most important is talent because, if you know how to do it but you dont know how it work you wont have the oportunity of having a job that you like. Another fact if you dont know how it work you can learn but if you dont have talent you have to practice and remember takes months. So thats my opinions.

  23. Talent is very different of hard work because the talent is something with you have born but hard work, to make something with that is very difficult because you don't know how to do it and you need a lot of perseverance to make it, like that I complete the rubik's with a lot of hard work because I didn't know how to do it

  24. I think hardwork beacuse you make an effort an is good beacuse you demostrate how much you practiced and also with to much hard work you get to much talent and you feel proud of it

  25. I think both things are esential to achieve something because you can have talent at something, but you need of hard work to achieve it. For example, I can be good at math, and I could have talent on that; but I need of hard work in class. It means: Pay attention in class, do my homework and exercises, and practice a lot. If you want to have talent or achieve something, you need to work very hard for get it.

  27. I think that success is not only the result of talent but also the result of the hard work and time we spend to improve our talent. I like to draw but to become a graphic designer I need to go to the university and study for a few years ;)

  28. I think that both, talent and hard work, are very important. But, I feel that hard work is the key to success. In live, to work hard, to never give up, and practicing every time is what makes us better. I strongly belive the phrace ''practice makes better''
As an example; I like to play the piano and I'm getting better by practicing at home, going to clases, studing my notes. And I olso belive that becice hard work and talent is to like what you do.

  29. I choose hardwork because you practice and practice to get what you want and if you have talent yo maybe think that if you have it you don't have to practice it and you maybe can lose it

  31. Hard work , because if you have talent and you don't practice you will never improve ,but if you work hard you will know a lot and you will be able to learn more .That is my opinion.

    ResponderEliminar
  32. I think that is by hard work because
someone always gets something with their effort,
also you can do what is necessary for what you want,
all hard thing to do even though you're tired, etc.

As my dad he entered his work without studying at a university
and now because of do the hard work every day.
Now I is assigned to his job as national manager of credit cards.
although a 4 or 3 years of study because he was told,
    and ended last year

  33. In my opinion the talent depends on the hard work for example:if you are good at basket but not at soccer and you want to be good at it you practice ( hard work) and you improve and you become better (talent)

  34. I think that hard work because the talent is only a caracteristic we all have but the hard work is something we do with tiredness until it is perfec.

I think that to succeed in any activity it has to be done is with hard work, effort and study. If you have talent will simply be easier to reach the target, but that isn't enough, to the talent you have to work to be better.

I would go next to the hard work because we can demonstrate how smart and there we are able to do something .And know that you have an opportunity to show your mental capacity and what you can achieve in your life and in your profession
